more footage of the much awaited game Modern Warfare 2 has arrived. This footage of the game tells more about what the gamers and fans are expecting from it.

We can see more of the snow level in this new mini video. The scale of the game is also detailed through this video. Now it seems that Modern Warfare 2 will be a more flexible game. Lets check the example the snowy Kazakhstan level. This will have players walking through a snow storm with a heartbeat detector. During one of the missions they will be locating enemies.

Now it also seems, through this new video, that players will move through stealthily or else they would go all out but have everyone alerted to their presence. This will in fact also let the gamers to decide about how they play this game.

The new technology of MW2 also makes it for bigger levels than it was available before. This game will be set apart from Call of Duty 4 by its levels such as mountains, slums, “underwater scuba based levels” and also castle settings.

Brand New Screen Shot.

It has beena while since since Activision released a new MW2 update but there has been one more screenshot made available of Modern Warfare 2 by Activision. This new screenshot reveals a different and may be a new location. It may be Afghanistan. This new screenshot of Modern Warfare was made available on a German website called Cynamite. It clearly does not say that the screenshot is of Afghanistan but the filename of the screenshot was quoted as “Afghan Ciffside.”Till now it is not very clear that how the location fits in the storyline of Modern Warfare. One fact is also not clearly known right now that the screenshot is of single player gameplay or else it is a multiplayer map introduction screen.

Full Trailer Released!

As it was promised by Infinity Ward, the developer, to release the trailer of Modern Warfare 2 on Sunday, they did so. It is over two minutes video that was aired during the NBA Eastern Conference finals on Sunday. It has impressive-looking environments and has covered all – land, air and sea. The trailer also shows some gruesome knifings, which appeared to be an assault on a castle. In short, the trailer was just fantastic.Earlier, twice, whatever we had been seeing was just a tease. In fact the first trailer of MW2 practically showed nothing. The second one of course some what confirmed that the US/European special forces vs. rogue Russians storyline of the game has been carried on from the original Modern Warfare.Sunday’s full length trailer even shows much more of the snowmobile sections. Of course it was hinted at in the previous trailer. The new one also includes a wicked looking takedown of someone gunning at full acceleration on a snowmobile.Here is the full length trailer of MW2. It is of two minutes and ends with an attack on what looks like a European castle.

Russia, Climning & Swimming OH MY!

Recent news of MW2 comes that it will be featuring wide open gameplay having lots of variety. Jason West, President of Infinity Ward, says this. The article reveals more key details about the hotly-anticipated Modern Warfare 2. It reveals that the plot of the game is set to a backdrop of a continued Russian Federation instability. It also reveals that the game will take gamers flung from Siberia to Afghanistan and even through the slums of Rio De Janeiro. These are the expectations of CoD6: chases on snowmobiles, a single-player experience and yes, it takes longer to complete than the original one. Now the developer is also actively trying to eliminate the endless respawning enemies that caused problems for sneakier players in the original MW. There are also movable turrets, riot shields, customisable weapons, and yes, more acrobatic player movements (one can swim and climb ice ledges), and also a fully separate co-op mode that features its own levels.

Sergeant John "Soap" MacTavish Returns In MW2.

More details from Game Informer....For Modern Warfare Fans there is a good news. At least all the fans will be happy to know that its major character, Sergeant John “Soap” MacTavish, returns as the captain of an international group that is addressed as Task Force 141. But yes, this time he will be an NPC. The gaming magazine Game Informer also mentions in the latest edition that the sequel continues the narrative that was begun in Modern Warfare, with the world facing dangerous political instability in Russia. In MW2, a terrorist group aims of using political turmoil of Russia to their advantage in order to secure the troubled empire’s weapon stockpiles. Makarov, another character who is the leader of the terrorist group even happens to be an associate of Zakhaev. Zakhaev is the man who is responsible for the first games’ nuclear attack.

Latest Modern Warfare 2 Info.

Only cuple of days after the 10 seconds gameplay footage of Modern Warfare 2, now there has come up the hard details about the game. The details, though only a small pinch, of this sequel to Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare has been published in Game Informer magazine. According to the published article, MW2 will be set several years after its predecessor. In this sequel, again the political instability inside a fictional near-future Russia will be threatening the world. The thread will now be in the form of a terrorist organization. One hero, out of two, Sergeant “Soap” MacTavish, has been promoted to captain in the Special Air Services (SAS), Britain’s equivalent of the US Navy SEALs. MacTavisis a part of a new commando unit and will be guiding the players through a series of grueling missions which will even include an ice-climbing infiltration of a frozen Russian army base. MW2 will be addressing the issue of infinitely spawning enemies. It will also be boasting new “Special Forces” mode that is quite similar to the Mile High Club and the airplane-hijack level. More to this the cooperative campaign is MIA in Modern Warfare 2, which is hoped by many gamers.

Fans Want To See More Weapons In MW2.

There was a survey made by a website asking its readers for comments about what weapons gamers would like to see in CoD6. The website received more than 1,500 comments. Many readers wrote that they wanted to see more weapon customization and there were also a lot of requests for more of pistols, more of sub machine guns and also more of rifles such as the FAMAS. Many readers also wished to see a perk that may be allowing for 2 attachments for their primary weapons. Hundreds of readers simply posted endless lists of weapons along with the model numbers of the weapons. Among the things that most of the gamers would not want in CoD6 is the Silenced snipers and a return for the Juggernaut perk. The above are just a snippet of the comments of the website. We wish that someone from Infinity Ward stumbles on this and take such requests into consideration. Let us hope that at least few of the rational comments are taken seriously by them.
